What is Alison?

Alison is online learning centre where you can sharpen up your knowledge and skills for free and with an optional fee you will receive a Certificate or Diploma after a course is complete.

What does it cost?

Although learning is free there is a optional fee for receiving a certificate/diploma.  For non-diploma courses, they offer a PDF download certificate (EURO 10) or a paper parchment certificate (EURO 32.99). For diploma courses, they offer a diploma parchment (EURO 77.99)”

Alison uses advertisements to generate income aswell and the advertisements can be removed. The following two options exist to remove advertisements:

No Course Advertisment

For only €15 per year their ‘No Ads’ subscription lets you access each page of learning material (of all courses) without having advertisements appear on the loading page of their course player between each course page.

No Site and Course Advertisment

For only €50 per year you can access each page on ALISON with no Ads, no waiting and no disturbance. You will spend no time looking at advertisements loading on the site. This subscription removes every advertisment on the site.

After successfully completing these courses, you will be able to download your Certificate of Completion.

Our free learning courses range from foundation-level certificate courses for complete beginners to fully comprehensive certification programmes. When you graduate from these courses, you qualify for certification. Our free online courses cover full Microsoft Office training, using Gmail and the Internet, Digital Literacy and Touch Typing, and more.

Diploma CoursesALISON is pleased to offer Diploma-level courses in a variety of professional subjects, such as a Multimedia Development, Web Development, and Business & Entrepreneurial Studies. ALISON is currently sourcing materials for a range of language related courses like ESL, ESOL as well as Spanish, Chinese, Arabic and many other foreign languages both spoken and written.

Personal Development & Soft SkillsThis subject category includes all personal productivity and ‘soft’ skills, including what are known as Continuous Personal/Professional Development (CPD) training courses. Our free online courses include Psychometric Tests, Basic Study Skills, Touch Typing Skills and a US Citizenship test preparation course. Completing any of these free courses entitles the learner to an ALISON Graduate Certificate.

Schools CurriculumALISON is pleased to offer learning materials for school curricula. Over the coming weeks, courses will be available in a variety of subjects, beginning with a Foundation course in Biology, but also including comprehensive online Mathematics, Physics, and other Science subjects.
