Description of job opportunity from Joan:

We are  looking for Transcribers to join our growing happy to work from home team!

The work entails transcribing audio to text which basically means that you will listen to a tape which you will type into words. You will need a computer and an ADSL connection to be able to do the work.You will do this work as a contractor and NOT as an employee of this company so you will be responsible for any costs you incur on your own behalf.

The  shifts I have available at this time are: (9h00 – 15h00 this shift is currently full)  and (15h00 – 21h00 also full at the moment)

I also need  night shift operators – shifts are 21h00 – 3h00 and 3h00 – 9h00.

All my shifts are currently full  up but if you would like to be considered for a position when I have shifts available then please read further and follow the instructions below to apply.

You will have to let me know which shifts you plan to work on a weekly basis.The reason for this is that I have to set up a roster every week to make sure that I have enough people online at any given time.

The rate is R14.00 per hour or .24c per minute.You will only be paid for time spent subscribing so you will not be paid for time you take off in-between working for e.g. lunch, making coffee, fetching kids from school etc.  The more hours you are able to do obviously the more you will be able to earn. You will be able to earn anything between R14 and R3000 + depending of course on how many hours you put in. My current agents regularly take home over R3000 per month.

You will be paid monthly and the money will be paid directly into your bank account.

You will have to do some evaluation training so we can access your abilities which means that you will not automatically qualify for the job. The training is done online.

Just for your info: You don’t have to travel to do this job as everything is done online – the training as well as the actual job if you pass the test, which means that you will be able to do this work from home. There is no downloading of files involved as you will be able to access everything via a control panel online. Also, there is no fee involved in working for us – we pay you to work for us and not the other round.
